Instructions to perform 4 7 8 breathing.
- Position the tip of your tongue on soft tissue behind front teeth row of upper jaw.
- Exhale through mouth.
- Inhale through nose counting to 4.
- Hold the breath for 7 counts.
- Exhale through mouth making a whooshing sound for 8 counts.
- Repeat the cycle for 4 rounds.
Relaxing breath should be practiced at-least twice a day for 2 - 3 months for better results
It was advised for beginners to never exceed 4 cycles and you could practice up-to maximum 8 cycles when you are trained.
